Note on Ionic Compounds and how to name them. Worksheet: Writing formulas and naming Ionic Compounds Hmk.- Read pages 192-194 and answer questions #1-5, 7 & 9 on page 195 Colour your Periodic table, highlighting the metals, non-metals, metalloids and hydrogen.
Read pages 184-187 in text and answer questions #1, 3-9 on page 187. Homework: Finish your Bohr-Rutherford diagrams for Monday... and a reminder that the good copy of your News Report is due on Tuesday....
Have a great weekend! Today we reviewed the key chemistry concepts from grade 9. There was a 4 page review package to complete...we took up the first 3 pages in class and the Bohr-Rutherford diagrams are for homework.
Today we reviewed how to write a proper News Report and then started writing using our notes from the videos as supporting evidence to the cause of global warming.
We continued watching this video today and taking notes for our News Report on Global Warming.
